Music is an integral part of most wedding ceremonies. It all starts as your guests find their seats (typically anywhere from 15-30 minutes before the ceremony begins.)

Processional music introduces the family and bridal party. Have you decided on a song yet for when the bride walks down the aisle? We are well-versed in classical music, but there are many popular songs that are now being used for walking down the aisle.

If you like traditional wedding ceremony music, you may like these selections:

  • Air – George F. Handel
  • Bridal Chorus – Richard Wagner
  • Canon in D – Johann Pachelbel
  • Trumpet Voluntary – Jeremiah Clark

If you like popular music, you may be want to consider these ideas:

  • A Thousand Years – Christina Perri
  • Marry Me – Train
  • Somewhere Over The Rainbow – Israel Kamakawiwo’Ole

You can even mix the two styles up a bit, with string interpretations of popular music.

The wedding music doesn’t stop there.

Additionally, we are quite often asked to provide music for other traditions/ceremonies that occur throughout the service such as a sand ceremony or other unity ceremony.

Then there is the BIG moment! The newlyweds are introduced and they walk away from the ceremony to the song of their choice.  Start thinking of the songs that are meaningful to you, and we’ll make it happen.

The Officiant and Readers/Speakers

Aside from musical instruments,  we provide the full sound system for the wedding. This includes a lapel microphone for the officiant, and any additional microphones that are needed for guest speakers/readers.

We meet with the officiant prior, to ensure that they are familiar with how to operate their lapel microphone.  We also monitor the sound throughout the wedding to ensure that everyone can hear and that there is no feedback or unnecessary noise.

Piano/Keyboard/Organ

Often churches already have a piano.  The equipment we use is up to you but never has to be a problem for you to worry about.  Anytime we use a piano or organ provided by a church or venue, we ensure that it is completely in tune and determine whether or not any microphones may be needed.
