Not Every Venue Has The Same Acoustics

Having the right sound system for your event is important. Venues come in many different shapes and sizes. Grand ballrooms can stretch several thousands of square footage and might include structural designs that are prone to echo.

If your event includes speeches or talking from your guests, you’ll want to be sure that there is enough amplification to carry their voices to all of your guests without creating sound blur from one end of the room to the other.

Additionally, there might be multiple setup locations in one venue (ex. cocktail hour and reception.) It is important that there is a sound system ready for both so that a seamless transition can occur if guests are moving to a different room with different music. There are also situations that might require disproportionate sound. Often it is better to have the dance music focused towards the dance floor and allow the people in other areas to carry on with their conversations.

When considering your entertainment, be sure to provide the details of your venue, as this information will ensure that the best possible sound for you and your guests can be provided.
